Position Summary: Reporting to the Head of Operational Management, the Reporting and Visualization Specialist ensures the availability, quality, and consistency of information for decision-making by leading the development and implementation of reports and dashboards in Power BI and administering databases. Reporting to the Head of Operational Management, the **Reporting and Visualization Specialist** will be responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and consistency of information for decision-making. This will be achieved through the administration and maintenance of databases, including the incorporation, modification, and deletion of KPIs according to business requirements. Additionally, the role will lead the development, implementation, and support of Power BI reports, ensuring adherence to clear and effective visualization standards. Concurrently, the role will be responsible for delivering comprehensive reporting for Quebrada Blanca, ensuring data coherence, integrity, and alignment across diverse sources and tools used. The position will be performed on a 7x7 shift schedule at the Quebrada Blanca Integrated Operations Center located in Santiago. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Act as a visible safety leader, actively promoting a preventive culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Administer and maintain databases, including the incorporation, modification, and deletion of KPIs. * Create, implement, and maintain dashboards to facilitate operational data visualization, supporting real-time decision-making (Situational Awareness). * Develop and standardize productive reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual), ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting. * Design and implement advanced analytics models to predict and optimize production process performance. * Identify operational process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities through advanced data analysis. * Ensure the integrity and availability of operational data to guarantee accurate and reliable reporting. * Ensure reports and visualizations comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) standards. * Collaborate closely with execution teams, support functions, and finance to align data visualization with business needs. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Civil Engineering or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in reporting activities within mining or other production-oriented industries. * Experience and proficiency in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, programming, and data analysis. * Knowledge of data mining and machine learning applied to the prediction and optimization of operational processes. * Experience in digital transformation initiatives, report automation, and handling large volumes of data (Big Data). * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI. * Advanced proficiency in Databricks. * Intermediate English language skills preferred. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
