Teck holds an indirect 60% stake in the mine. Reporting to the Predictive Maintenance Supervisor, the **Predictive Analyst** will conduct analysis and diagnostics for predictive maintenance activities on process plant equipment using vibration, ultrasonic, thermographic, oil analysis, and other available techniques, through collaborative and integrated work with the maintenance and operations teams, in accordance with legal safety, health, environmental, and community regulations. The position will be based at Puerto Patache in the Tarapacá Region, operating on a 7x7 day shift system. **Responsibilities:** * Be a courageous safety leader, comply with and champion safety and environmental rules and procedures. * Implement HSEC standards and objectives in area activities and processes to ensure safe operation of assets, people, the environment, and production. * Perform vibration, ultrasonic, thermographic, oil analysis, and other available technique measurements and recordings on mobile equipment and process plant components. * Conduct component life analysis based on available measurement databases. * Perform recordings and analysis using available predictive techniques, interpreting readings and analytical data. * Conduct mechanical testing of components. * Report incidents and hazards promptly. * Assist in investigations of reported incidents. * Carry out duties in accordance with the company’s defined operational management standards. * Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and escalate them using Quebrada Blanca’s Continuous Improvement framework. * Implement risk management in the execution of plans and processes in which they participate. **Requirements** * Professional degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Maintenance Engineering. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in predictive maintenance within the mining industry, in Technician and/or Analyst roles. * Knowledge and experience in predictive maintenance techniques. * Minimum Level 2 certification in vibration analysis techniques. * Certifications in non-destructive testing techniques will be valued. * Proficiency in Maximo and/or SAP systems. * Class B driver’s license. * Availability to work on a 7x7 shift system in Puerto/Iquique. **Job Description** ------------------------- **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- **Requirements** -------------- **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
