Reporting to the Superintendent of Electricity and Instrumentation, the **Electrical Supervisor** will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems at the Plant, ensuring reliability, safety, and operational continuity. Their impact is reflected in reduced failures, optimized energy consumption, and regulatory compliance, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted production. This position will be based at our Quebrada Blanca operation, located in the Tarapacá Region at 4\.400 m above sea level, on a 7x7 day shift schedule. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Be a courageous leader in safety. Comply with and champion safety and environmental rules and procedures. Lead the development of electrical safety for electrical and instrumentation technical personnel, while promoting continuous improvement in operations through maintenance and application of new technologies. * Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety protocols, minimizing operational risks at the concentrator plant. * Supervise preventive maintenance execution by tracking critical spares required for operations. * Supervise corrective and predictive maintenance execution to ensure proper functionality and integrity of electrical rooms, switchgear, motors, medium- and low-voltage frequency drives, guaranteeing their availability. * Coordinate with operations and process control personnel to optimize analytical instrumentation and field variable measurement systems, ensuring efficiency and cost reduction. * Lead the diagnosis and analysis of complex failures and manage implementation of solutions to maximize reliability of critical equipment. * Manage electrical service contractors and suppliers, supervising quality, timelines, and costs of interventions. **Requirements** -------------- * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience leading personnel in industrial process electrical and instrumentation maintenance. * Familiarity with electrical safety standards: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and work procedures in high-risk installations. * Knowledge of Supreme Decree 132, DS 109, and DS 08\. * Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and electrical substations. * Experience with: Motors, mills, frequency drives, transformers, and electrical panels. * Knowledge of field automation, control, and instrumentation: PLCs, DCS, calibration and maintenance of process analytical sensors, and industrial networks. * Experience managing integrated maintenance management systems and predictive maintenance strategies applied to electrical equipment. * Knowledge of electrical standards such as NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E. * Mandatory valid Class B driver’s license. * Willingness to work at our Quebrada Blanca operation, located in the Tarapacá Region at 4\.400 m above sea level, on a 7x7 day shift schedule. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
