At **Aguas Antofagasta**, we are seeking a **Network Operator** to temporarily join our **Intake Operations** team, supporting essential on-site operational and maintenance tasks required to ensure continuity of the water conveyance and supply process.
This position is a Temporary Service Contract (ST), for a period of 3 months, under the Staff Augmentation modality.
* **Location**: Corporate Building, Antofagasta, with daily on-site visits within the company's operational area.
* **Work Modality**: On-site.
* **Working Hours**: 42 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:45 hrs., and Friday from 08:00 to 13:00 hrs.
* **Contract Type**: Temporary Service Contract (ST) – Staff Augmentation for 3 months.
* **Benefits**: Meals at the Corporate Cafeteria. In cases where field assignments prevent arrival at the cafeteria during operating hours, meal allowances or per diems will be provided as applicable, in accordance with established criteria.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Perform on-site supervision, inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of components, equipment, and instruments at production facilities, intakes, feeders, and pumping stations, among other operational installations.
* Monitor and regulate water supply and take readings from non-regulated customers, contributing to the continuity of water conveyance to production facilities.
* Carry out activities in compliance with risk prevention protocols, especially safe work procedures for confined spaces.
* Assess workplace safety conditions, identify hazards, and implement appropriate preventive measures.
* Operate drainage valve opening and closing at intakes, both for scheduled work and emergency situations.
* Conduct weekly control and supervision of NACA pressure-reducing stations.
* Perform maintenance tasks and replacement of valves, air release valves, and pressure-reducing valves.
* Supervise work performed by third-party service providers at water intakes, intakes, filtration plants, and reservoirs.
* Perform on-site operational tasks requiring regular travel to various locations within the company's operational area.
* Operate company-provided vehicles for on-site tasks, complying with required training courses, driver’s licenses, and internal regulations.
**Requirements**
* Completed Secondary Education.
* At least 1 year of professional experience.
* Knowledge of basic hydraulics and electricity.
* Valid Class B driver’s license.
* Residence in Antofagasta.
* Availability to perform tasks primarily on-site and to commute daily to various locations within the operational area.
