**GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:**
Develop technical and behavioral competencies through completion of basic-level AutoMine/OptiMine system training, performing operational tasks, technical support, and field visits—always under tutoring and/or supervision—while adhering to the company’s and/or client’s established safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Identify, understand, operate, and interpret, at an intermediate level—with guidance from manuals and supervision—the various programs and indicators of AutoMine/OptiMine systems and equipment.
* Use commercial software for developing or modifying automation-area schematics and drawings, such as AutoCAD.
* Identify and apply, under supervision, various concepts, equipment, tools, and software at an intermediate level.
* Provide basic support for requested configuration and implementation activities.
* Ensure that the work area remains clean and organized, guaranteeing appropriate storage of tools and equipment.
* Search for, process, and store digital data and information.
* Download information from the control system and update software under supervision.
* Plan, manage, and maintain the tools and equipment required for configuration and implementation support tasks, ensuring their availability upon request.
* Report and document outcomes following intermediate-level configuration and implementation support activities.
* Provide basic technical assistance to customers within the specialist area.
* Apply general knowledge to resolve common customer issues.
**YOUR PROFILE:**
* Technical diploma in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or similar; or university professional degree in Electromechanics, Automation, or similar, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or similar (preferred).
* Minimum 0–1 year of experience in similar automation-related roles.
* Knowledge of automation, digital systems and instrumentation, networks, sensors, PLC programming, or SQL.
* Basic English proficiency.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS:**
* Willingness to travel within and outside Chile.
* Availability to work rotating shifts.
* Class B driver’s license with minimum 3 years of validity (mandatory).
* Residence in Rancagua.
