WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU " This job posting complies with Law 21.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market." **GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:** Develop technical and behavioral competencies through completion of basic-level training on AutoMine/OptiMine systems, performing operational tasks, support activities, and field visits—always under tutoring and/or supervision—while adhering to the company’s and/or client’s established safety, hygiene, and environmental standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Identify, understand, operate, and interpret—at an intermediate level, supported by manuals and supervision—the various programs and indicators of AutoMine/OptiMine systems and equipment. * Use commercial software for developing or modifying automation-area drawings and schematics, such as AutoCAD. * Identify and apply—under supervision—various concepts, equipment, tools, and software at an intermediate level. * Provide basic support for requested configuration and implementation tasks. * Ensure the work area remains clean and orderly, guaranteeing proper storage of tools and equipment. * Search for, process, and store digital data and information. * Download information from the control system and update software under supervision. * Plan, manage, and maintain tools and equipment required for configuration and implementation support tasks, ensuring their availability when needed. * Report and document results following intermediate-level configuration and implementation support tasks for systems. * Provide basic technical assistance to customers within the specialist area. * Apply general knowledge to resolve common customer issues. **YOUR PROFILE:** * Technical degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields; or university professional degree in Electromechanics, Automation, or related fields, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields (preferred). * Minimum 0–1 year of experience in similar automation roles. * Knowledge of automation, digital systems and instrumentation, networks, sensors, PLC programming, or SQL. * Basic English proficiency. * Proficiency in MS Office tools. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** * Willingness to travel within and outside Chile. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Class B driver’s license with minimum 3 years of validity (mandatory). * Residence in Rancagua. **Work Location: Rancagua.** **FOR INTERNAL APPLICATIONS:** Use Sandvik intranet under Vacancies, Job ID: R0096049. **FOR EXTERNAL APPLICATIONS:** Visit www.sandvik.com, then select “Careers” from the top menu bar and enter publication number **R0096049** to apply.
