We are currently seeking a **Welder/Mechanic** for a major mining project located in the Antofagasta region. **Objective:** Perform welding tasks on equipment and steel piping, ensuring quality, safety, maintenance, and repair of structures and equipment. **Conditions:** * Shift: Rotating 7x7 schedule. * Location: Puerto Coloso. * Contract Type: Project-based. **Responsibilities:** * Carry out operational tasks in accordance with the specific API welding standard. * Report and record daily progress of welded and/or repaired joints to the supervisor. * Provide technical input during planning of welding activities. * Perform grinding and/or beveling tasks when required. * Record inspection of electrical equipment and tools used prior to performing welding tasks. * Follow and implement supervisor’s instructions. * Maintain order in the work area. * Know and comply with the company’s welding operating procedure. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education or Industrial Technical Mechanic qualification. * 2 years of experience. * API Welder Certification If you are looking for an exciting challenge and possess the skills and experience we seek, we invite you to apply.
