Our core values are the foundation that make us successful for ourselves, our customers and the planet. **Job Description** Albemarle is hiring a Hydrogeological Modeling Deputy Manager in **Santiago, Chile** **What You’ll Do** **Expand and improve geological and hydrogeological knowledge of lithium brine operations at Salar de Atacama, Salar de Antofalla (Argentina), and other Albemarle projects. Lead the hydrogeological (numerical) modeling strategy to support decision-making, optimize short- and long-term brine extraction/reinjection operations, predict and/or minimize environmental impacts, and estimate mineral reserves.** * Define medium- and long-term modeling strategy, including model update schedules, roles and responsibilities, and scope for each model. * Coordinate the development and updating of various flow and/or transport models by Albemarle personnel (across departments) or consultants. * Lead the numerical modeling team to achieve its objectives by setting realistic and ambitious goals. * Establish model evaluation criteria and company standards to ensure proper model execution.
