Position Summary: We are seeking Shift Supervisors to lead the daily execution of tailings and material handling and transportation activities, ensuring compliance, safety, and equipment availability. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and coordinate field teams of operators and heavy machinery. 2. Ensure compliance with the daily schedule and equipment availability. 3. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and instructions. We seek Shift Supervisors to lead, on-site during their assigned shift, the daily execution of tailings and material handling and transportation activities at the Mantos de Oro Mining Company (Kinross) Deposit, ensuring program compliance, safety, and equipment availability. Main Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate the team of operators and assigned heavy machinery during the shift (day or night). * Ensure compliance with the daily schedule provided by the Client: tailings transport, spreading, drying, leveling, and compaction. * Assign heavy machinery (dump trucks, front-end loaders, excavators, motor graders, compacting rollers, bulldozers) according to the requirements of the workface. * Ensure equipment availability for truck loading operations at all times. * Coordinate the multi\-operator system per shift, promptly covering operator absences or shortages. * Report, at shift close, on schedule compliance, equipment availability, and safety incidents. * Verify compliance with minimum performance standards per service equipment (dump truck 20\-24 m3, D8 bulldozer, 19 t compacting roller, front-end loader bucket 5 m3, CAT 140\ motor grader). * Ensure adherence to loading, transportation, leveling, and compaction procedures and instructions, as well as lockout devices across various work areas (Deposit, Rahco Bajo, Rakito). * Under winter operation alert conditions, coordinate deployment of front-end loaders, motor graders, and bulldozers for road clearance, as defined by the Winter Operations Committee. Academic Qualifications * Civil Engineer, Construction Engineer, or related degree. Experience * Minimum 5 years of mining experience leading earthmoving teams. * Experience in operations using day/night shift systems and managing multiple concurrent workfaces. Worksite Conditions Position located at La Coipa site, Atacama Region (131 km from Copiapó via CH\-31\ road), at an elevation between 3\.800 and 4\.700 m.a.s.l., in a cold desert climate with severe winter conditions (snow, low temperatures, and strong winds). The Client (Mantos de Oro Mining Company / Kinross) arranges on\-site accommodation, meals, and primary healthcare; transportation between Copiapó–La Coipa–Copiapó is the responsibility of the Service Company.
