Responsible for key decision-making and problem resolution. **Position Objective**: Lead the overall direction and management of the traction power supply system renewal project and the implementation of a traction SCADA platform. This role entails ensuring proper execution, compliance with technical requirements detailed in the tender, adherence to established timelines and allocated budget, and maintenance of the highest safety and quality standards, in strict coordination with the end client. You will serve as the primary focal point for the client and the project team, being responsible for key decision-making and problem resolution. **What Will Be Your Challenges?** * Coordination of multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. * Negotiation of changes, contractual modifications, and conflict resolution. * In-depth Technical Knowledge (Specific to the Tender): * Traction Power Supply Systems: Advanced understanding of traction logic, electrical interlockings (including relay-based), and their evolution toward computerized systems. Knowledge of remote management and emergency traction power cutoff systems. * SCADA Platforms: Experience in design, implementation, and operation of SCADA systems for control and monitoring of electrical infrastructure, including security functions and digital substation standards. * Network Architectures * Regulations and Standards: Basic knowledge of relevant international regulations and standards for railway and electrical systems, such as: * IEC 61850 series (Communication networks and systems for power utility automation). * UNE\-EN\-50126/50128/50129 series (Railway applications – RAMS, Software, Safety-related systems). * IEC 61508/61511 series (Functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems). * Applicable electrical and environmental safety regulations. **What Do We Expect From You?** * Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g., Electronics, Automation, or similar with strong electrical focus). * Experience: Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience in Project Manager roles, with responsibility for medium-to-large-scale engineering and construction projects. * Specific Project Experience: * Demonstrated experience managing projects related to railway traction power supply systems or SCADA. * Solid experience in implementing and/or renewing SCADA systems, preferably within critical infrastructure or transportation environments. * In-depth knowledge of all project phases, including basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closure. * Languages: High level of English (C1 or higher), desirable.
