**The Opportunity**
This position is located at our Santiago, Chile site.
As a Cleaning Operator, you will perform activities to maintain cleanliness standards in production areas belonging to non-production zones of manufacturing and packaging—such as corridors, laundry rooms, warehouses, and offices. You will also maintain minimum stock levels of supplies, uniforms, and other items required for plant operations.
**What You’ll Do**
* Prioritize responsibilities according to their importance.
* Maintain cleanliness across all white-area sectors, including non-production rooms.
* Perform cleaning and organization activities in classified areas, complying with current hygiene procedures and standards.
* Manage supplies: maintain inventory of cleaning tools, chemical agents, and personal protective equipment (PPE); keep monthly records of these requirements.
* Verify expiration dates of chemical agents used for cleaning.
* Ensure availability of reusable and disposable garments for Production personnel and plant visitors.
* Remove waste and hazardous materials from the white area.
* Maintain operational status of the cleaning agent dosing system; verify that cleaning agent concentrations remain within specified parameters and that the dosing system operates properly.
* Measure and record environmental conditions in work areas.
* Report process deviations to your immediate supervisor.
* Properly use assigned personal protective equipment (PPE), including proper care, cleaning, and maintenance to ensure it remains in good condition.
* Comply with corporate standards and those required by the Quality Management System regarding Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Environment, and applicable regulations.
* Support Production needs and perform other tasks assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
* Completed secondary education.
* Prior experience of more than 1 year in the pharmaceutical and/or food industry. Not mandatory.
