We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** **ARAUCO** seeks its next Trainee Engineer to join the Talent Root Program in the field of Mechanical Engineering applied to industrial design. **Position Objective** To develop as a Trainee Engineer specialized in Mechanical Engineering applied to industrial design, participating in consulting projects, technical analysis, and development of solutions for the productive industry. This role involves building capabilities in modeling, simulation, interpretation of engineering standards, and technical support, with emphasis on design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with standards. **Specific Position Objectives** * Participate in mechanical design activities applying ASME, API, NFPA, and AWWA standards. * Perform modeling, calculations, and simulations using specialized software. * Support preparation, review, and interpretation of engineering drawings and 3D models. * Conduct technical analyses for mechanical consulting projects in the productive industry. * Contribute to gathering required technical information and specifications for design. * Collaborate in evaluations of mechanical integrity, fluid flow, structures, and equipment. * Prepare technical reports, calculation memos, and engineering documentation. * Work alongside area specialists on continuous improvement activities and design methodologies. **What Are the Requirements?** * Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Civil Engineering * Experience: 3 years of experience in industrial design and project activities. * Desired Technical Knowledge: + Proficiency in specialized software: Ansys, Caesar II, Autopipe, FluidFlow, PipeFlow, AutoCAD, Navisworks. + Knowledge or proficiency in ASME, API, NFPA, and AWWA standards. + Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models. + Experience in mechanical design consulting projects for the productive industry. * Other Requirements: + Intermediate English proficiency. + Interest in applied engineering, design, modeling, and technical analysis. + Technical discipline, organization, and rigor in documentation. + Analytical ability and learning orientation. **What Does the Talent Root Program Offer?** * Intensive training in applied engineering, modeling, and industrial design. * Ongoing mentorship by technical specialists throughout the program. * Participation in real-world mechanical design and analysis projects. * Development of advanced competencies in engineering software and standards. * Integration into high-technical-standard teams within the business. ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest-based products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
