Join us in pursuing solutions for a sustainable future.** **Job Description** Mission: Implement the assigned parts of the project within his/her unit/department, in keeping with established procedures, facilitating compliance with established deadlines and coordinating the necessary resources (human and material), so as to contribute to significantly improving the project. They are responsible for the performance of work contracts. They plan, optimise and supervise the usage of resources to ensure that the construction projects are carried out on time, with the prescribed specifications and cost. Their most common duties include: Managing contracts and procuring the required permits and licenses, drawing up budget estimates, planning and setting out the phases of construction, supervising the sub\-contractors’ tasks and the tasks of the subordinate staff or workers, verifying the progress achieved and the quality of the work during all phases of the project, representing the company in relevant matters, etc.**Candidate Requirements** At ACCIONA, we are currently identifying professionals for the position of **Site Manager**, as part of a **tender process associated with a high-complexity underground infrastructure project**. **Any eventual hiring will be subject to contract award and final project planning.** **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise daily fieldwork execution, coordinating internal resources, subcontractors, equipment, and machinery. * Lead work fronts related to shafts, galleries, tunnels, underground works, and/or technical facilities. * Monitor physical progress of assigned activities, verifying schedule compliance, productivity, and construction sequence. * Coordinate daily and weekly work planning with field operations, technical office, quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental departments. * Ensure compliance with construction procedures, safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable regulations. * Identify on-site interferences, constraints, or deviations, proposing timely corrective actions. * Coordinate with the client, technical inspection, subcontractors, and internal teams as required. * Ensure proper execution of works, safeguarding operational continuity, productivity, and achievement of project milestones. **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Mining Execution Engineering. * Minimum 8 years of professional experience. * Proven experience in soil tunnel construction, ideally with at least 6 years of specific experience or participation in 1,000 meters of soil tunnels. * Experience leading fieldworks of similar characteristics and technical complexity. * Experience in underground works, shafts, galleries, tunnels, urban infrastructure, underground mining, or high-complexity projects. * Desirable experience in NATM methodology, conventional excavation, fortification, ground support, advance control, and work-front coordination. * Availability to work on-site under the shift or working hours regime defined for project execution. **Desirable Background for the Process:** For technical and documentary evaluation, candidates’ experience will be valued if supported by documentation indicating: * Project. * Client. * Company. * Position held. * Period of involvement. * Type of work executed. * Length of tunnels or galleries executed or supervised. * Ground type: soil, rock, or mixed. * Construction method used. * Direct responsibilities in field management, progress control, resource coordination, safety, quality, and production. **What We Offer** Participation in a process linked to a high-complexity infrastructure project.
