Finning is seeking an Operations Manager for the Gabriela Mistral contract, responsible for leading fleet maintenance to ensure compliance and optimize resources.

Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fulfill the role of **Operations Manager for the Gabriela Mistral contract**, who will be responsible for directing and supervising the operational execution of fleet maintenance under the contract, ensuring compliance with corrective and preventive maintenance plans while optimizing human and financial resources, contributing to customer satisfaction, and adhering to defined KPIs, contractual specifications, and Finning policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Motivate personnel under your supervision and foster their commitment to the company’s strategic initiatives.
* Coordinate and supervise the implementation of equipment maintenance programs and plans, as well as unplanned repair work.
* Coordinate requirements for internal and external labor, and special projects. Reconcile equipment downtime hours with the client.
* Supervise and actively participate in activities related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management. (Ref. PRO.HS.01\.02 Responsibility for Risk Prevention and Environmental Protection).
**Application Requirements:**
* University graduate — Civil Engineer or Industrial Engineer (or equivalent), preferably with a mechanical or industrial background; minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar roles, with demonstrated understanding of operational management in Mining Services and mobile equipment maintenance and repair processes within the mining industry, including leadership of multidisciplinary work teams.
* Proficient user-level knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and management and budgeting systems.
* Knowledge of **electric shovels and drills**, represented brands, and personnel management.
* Familiarity with operational processes, management systems, and tools.
* Intermediate level of spoken and written English proficiency.

* Performance evaluation rating of “Meets Expectations” or higher (minimum score of 3).
* Minimum eligibility level: 4/Senior Technician.
