We also support literary festivals and author development programs, driving cultural growth throughout the region. **Role Overview** We are seeking a **Cybersecurity Analyst** to protect our digital assets, publishing platforms, and author‑related data. You will monitor threats, conduct risk assessments, and implement security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor security alerts, SIEM logs, and network traffic for suspicious activity. * Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web applications, content‑management systems, and cloud services. * Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and incident‑response procedures. * Perform regular security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks (e.g., GDPR, local data‑privacy laws). * Investigate and remediate security incidents; prepare post‑incident reports and lessons‑learned documentation. * Collaborate with IT, development, and publishing teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps). * Provide security awareness training and phishing simulations for staff and contractors. * Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices; recommend improvements and new tools. **Required Qualifications** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). * **Experience:** 2–4 years in cybersecurity, information security analysis, or a related role, preferably in media, publishing, or digital content environments. * **Technical** **Skills:** Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.), firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability‑scanning platforms (Nessus, Qualys). * **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), web‑application security (OWASP Top 10\), and encryption standards. * **Certifications** **(preferred):** CompTIA Security\+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent. * **Analytical** **Ability:** Excellent problem‑solving and incident‑response skills; capacity to analyze logs and trace attack vectors. * **Communication:** Clear written and spoken Spanish and English; ability to produce detailed technical reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences. * **Availability:** Flexible schedule to handle on‑call rotations and urgent security incidents; willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends. **Preferred Attributes** * Experience with publishing‑specific platforms (CMS, DRM systems). * Familiarity with data‑privacy regulations affecting literary content and author contracts. * Ability to script in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation of security tasks. **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly compensation (CLP 1,300 – CLP 2,800\) with performance‑based bonuses. * Opportunity to safeguard cultural and literary content for a growing Latin American audience. * Ongoing training, certification support, and professional development resources. * Health benefits, paid leave, and a collaborative, mission‑driven work environment.
