Data analysis for continuous improvement At Coca\-Cola CPS Chile, we are seeking our next Packaging Analyst. **Position Description:** Strategically lead the development and implementation of new packaging in alignment with the company’s global guidelines and market trends. Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement initiatives for packaging systems. Lead technical visits, packaging development processes, and performance management of local packaging suppliers, including advanced resolution of claims and high-impact troubleshooting. Coordinate, lead, and conduct audits of packaging suppliers (secondary and tertiary packaging). Lead the analysis, risk assessment, and technical approval of packaging materials, ensuring compliance with internal, regulatory, and legal requirements. Be responsible for defining, managing, and sustainably improving key packaging performance metrics for the plant, guaranteeing their adherence. Conduct statistical analysis using digital tools to anticipate risks, prevent packaging failures, and enable data-driven decision-making, driving operational excellence. **Related Functions / Key Responsibilities:** * Support Packaging Value Creation Projects, productivity, and facilitate the plant’s packaging process initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal requirements. * Understand various container manufacturing processes and basic Quality concepts. * Identify areas for improvement in packaging materials, providing solutions and alternatives to the plant to enhance packaging performance, increase production line productivity, and reduce costs wherever possible. * Support the development of new packaging suppliers and materials to ensure continuity of packaging material supply through the Change Management process. * Analyze and approve packaging materials for the production process. * Participate in resolving supplier quality issues at the plant (problem solving), tracking supplier action plans, manufacturing areas, and key stakeholder activities. Ensure supplier quality issues are managed per internal supplier procedures. * Conduct technical trend analysis for packaging material complaints, developing corrective or preventive action plans jointly with Quality Assurance and Operations teams and plant suppliers. * Include claim management in collaboration with other departments (Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Packaging Buyer). * Participate in meetings with container suppliers, other company departments, and other plants within the Coca\-Cola (CPS) system. * Maintain updated packaging specifications, documents, and procedures in the internal database, including creation of new specifications and compliance with legal requirements. * Evaluate new packaging equipment required for new products or to upgrade technology to state-of-the-art standards. * Support global audit teams and audit secondary and tertiary suppliers, tracking action plans and improvements. * Support ISO 9001, 17025:2017, and FSSC 22000\ audit processes. * Perform statistical data analysis using digital tools to anticipate risks, prevent packaging failures, and enable data-driven decision-making, driving operational excellence. * Use digital tools and/or artificial intelligence to automate processes and reduce repetitive, low-value-added activities, promoting work processes that are as efficient, standardized, and sustainable as possible. **Education Requirements:** University degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Industrial, Food), Chemistry, or related fields. **Relevant Work Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in the food industry or equivalent. Experience in Packaging. **Technical Skills:** * Knowledge of quality management systems. * Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, user level. * Written and spoken English proficiency.
