A prominent company in the industrial sector is seeking a **Mechanical Specialist Engineer**, who will lead the mechanical discipline technically, participate in equipment design, development, and optimization, and provide on-site technical support to production, maintenance, sales, and operations.
**Location:** Recoleta, Región Metropolitana
**Job Responsibilities**
* Develop mechanical designs of equipment and components using Autodesk Inventor.
* Prepare calculation reports, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
* Perform structural analysis using finite element analysis (FEA).
* Define technical specifications, materials, and components for various projects.
* Review and approve drawings, deliverables, and technical documentation.
* Provide technical leadership to the mechanical design team and supervise the execution of work orders.
* Propose improvements aimed at optimizing equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.
* Provide technical support during equipment fabrication and assembly, resolving design deviations.
* Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
* Participate in cost estimations and technical budgeting associated with projects and tenders.
* Conduct technical site surveys, supervise equipment installations, and participate in equipment commissioning.
* Prepare technical reports and report key departmental performance indicators.
**What We Expect From You**
* Degree in Civil Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in mechanical design and industrial projects.
* Experience preparing mechanical design, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
* Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
* Experience performing analysis using finite element analysis (FEA).
* Ability to prepare calculation reports and technical reports.
* Availability to conduct site surveys and perform on-site activities.
* Valid Class B driver's license.
* Experience in cost estimation, preferably related to industrial projects or tenders.
