At ManpowerGroup, together with Aguas del Sol, we are seeking Shift Supervisors for a 7x7 work schedule in Tocopilla. This position is critical for supervising high-complexity processes, coordinating work teams, and ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety in water production. Responsibilities: • Supervise the operation of the desalination plant and pumping stations following organizational (O&M) procedures and instructions • Supervise actions required to maintain process operations within contractual parameters efficiently, reliably, and safely, complying with the reporting system established in the O&M contract. • Manage operational activities with personnel under supervision at the desalination plant and pumping stations • Verify daily production, plant efficiency, energy consumption, chemical dosing, effluent discharge conditions • Coordinate operational testing jointly with the maintenance department • Align operations personnel with the laboratory team for analysis of various process waters • Verify compliance with customer-requested water demand • Verify daily records of quality, volumes, chemical inventory, analytical equipment inventory, and others • Verify daily compliance with organizational environmental requirements • Propose process and system improvements contributing to operational efficiency and safety • Maintain effective communication with personnel during emergencies • Perform any other duties related to the responsibilities of the position as requested by the direct supervisor Requirements: • Technical degree in Chemistry, Process Control, Instrumentation, or related fields (mandatory) • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, Civil Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines (desirable) • 5 years of experience in industrial plants in supervisory roles (mandatory) • 2 years of experience in desalination plants (mandatory) • Knowledge of ultrafiltration-based water pretreatment • Knowledge of reverse osmosis desalination processes > 100 L/s (mandatory) • Knowledge of maintenance processes for production equipment (desirable) • Basic knowledge of hydraulics in fluid transport systems; aqueduct management for geographic altitude (desirable) • Knowledge of aqueduct cleaning processes (desirable) • Knowledge of industrial safety and handling of chemical reagents (desirable) • Basic knowledge of industrial communication networks, SCADA and DCS control systems (mandatory) • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (mandatory) • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems (desirable) • Knowledge of Chilean legal regulations and water chemistry (desirable) • Hazardous waste handling (mandatory) • SAP module proficiency (desirable) • Valid Chilean Class B driver’s license (mandatory) Working Conditions: • Work schedule: 7x7 / 8:00–20:00 hours, with availability to shift to 7:00–19:00 hours • Work modality: On-site • Direct employment by the company • Indefinite-term contract At #TalentSolutionsChile and Aguas del Sol, we promote inclusion because we know talent resides in people.
