Professional development and job stability Electromechanical Maintenance and Operations Technician – La Serena **Join Linkes Chile S.A.!** At Linkes Chile, we are looking for an **Electromechanical Maintenance and Operations Technician** to join a major project at the **La Silla Observatory**, where you will contribute to the operational continuity of telescopes, critical infrastructure, and high-tech electromechanical systems. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Diagnose and resolve equipment and infrastructure failures. * Record maintenance activities in the CMMS system (MAXIMO). * Participate in technical emergency response under On\-Call arrangements. * Operate and maintain power systems, industrial refrigeration, and mechanical transmission systems. * Support automation and control tasks. * Carry out maintenance tasks with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. * Collaborate cross-functionally with various technical specialties under the contract. **Requirements** -------------- * Higher Technical Degree in: * Electromechanics. * Automation. * Industrial Maintenance or related field. * At least **2 years of experience** in similar positions (ideally 3 years). * Knowledge of industrial maintenance and electromechanical systems. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel). * Valid Class B driver's license (mandatory). * Availability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies as required. **We seek candidates with** ------------------------- * Commitment to safety. * Results orientation. * Teamwork skills. * Proactivity. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Customer orientation and high quality standards. **We Offer** ------------- * Opportunity to join a leading Facility Management company. * Participation in a high-level technological and scientific project. * Professional development. * Job stability. * Excellent working environment. **At Linkes Chile, we promote labor inclusion and value diversity.
