We encourage you to take the time to explore the opportunity of building a career with Freeport\-McMoRan. **Description** --------------- **Trainee Engineer** The primary role is to develop minor multidisciplinary projects and improvements focused on safety and goal achievement in environmental management, cost, schedule, and quality within the Project Management Department. Integrate into an established team of professionals who will provide support in carrying out these responsibilities. All of the above must be performed efficiently, safely, and with quality, emphasizing safe production to ensure operational continuity of the area. **Essential Functions:** * Manage, coordinate, and control assigned projects. * Actively engage with peers across company departments, environmental teams, Community Dialogue, permitting, Contract Administration, Procurement, and other engineering areas at Freeport. * Ensure proper execution of engineering and construction for assigned projects. * Perform activities that promote and impact safety, environmental management, energy efficiency, gender equality, and operational excellence. Execute any other tasks related to your work area as assigned. * **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Requirements:** * Graduated in Civil Construction Engineering \- Industrial Civil Engineering \- Mechanical Engineering during 2024, 2025, or 2026\. * Class B driver’s license with at least two years of validity.
