Learn more at www.lundinmining.com. **Job Description** ------------------------- The Process Operator III is responsible for performing control, monitoring, and operation of mineral processing systems and hydro-metallurgical process irrigation systems to ensure operational continuity and compliance with the Company’s safety, environmental, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities \| Activities** ------------------------------------------------ * Safely operate equipment, collect samples, and add reagents for processes. * Inspect workplace structures, verifying environmental conditions. * Monitor and control operational variables of the leaching process. * Operate, install, and repair leach pad irrigation systems. * Perform thermofusion and repair of HDPE pipes. * Report key quality indicators and area objective achievement (ISO 9001\). * Promote and verify implementation of safety controls, reporting unsafe acts and conditions (ISO 45001\). * Monitor relevant energy parameters for planning purposes and report consumption deviations (ISO 50001\). * Ensure pollution prevention and compliance with applicable environmental regulations (ISO 14001\). * Participate in and lead training related to their area of responsibility for team development. * Represent the Company in internal and external technical forums. * Promote respectful, non-discriminatory working relationships using gender-neutral language (NCh 3262\). **Education, Experience and Other Requirements** --------------------------------------------- * Secondary education or Technical-Professional secondary education, relevant to the position’s specialty. * Minimum five years’ experience in similar roles within the mining sector. * Must hold certification or competency accreditation for HDPE pipe thermofusion. * Must have experience with HDPE pipes of various diameters: 90, 110, 150, 200, 315, 350, 400, and 630 mm. * Valid Class B driver’s license.
