The selected candidate will be responsible for controlling operational variables and parameters in the Primary Crushing area, as well as performing general equipment inspections, to fulfill the daily program in accordance with established procedures and safety and environmental standards, thereby contributing to the concentrator plant’s operational continuity. **Key Responsibilities Include:** -------------------------------------------- * In accordance with shift handover and work procedures, control and monitor the entire concentrator plant process, performing actions such as particle size measurement, reagent dosing, pressure of incoming and outgoing flows, speeds, moisture, density, air levels, among others, and making necessary adjustments to plant operational processes. Coordinate with other departments when indicators fall outside normal ranges to align on adjustments or additional actions. Complete checklists with area indicators, reporting to the control room to update online information and issue the daily report. * Conduct general area and equipment operation inspections, including pumps, valves, mills, pipelines, drive trains, and promptly detect leaks, seepage, or other deviations. Inspect spare equipment to ensure availability for operation. Perform equipment cleaning; in case of contingencies, report to supervisors and coordinate appropriate maintenance and/or repairs with the relevant team. * Provide support and participate in equipment maintenance activities within the area, in accordance with the maintenance Gantt chart. Review authorized documentation for personnel and equipment entering the area, and carry out equipment start-up and shutdown for scheduled or corrective maintenance, following equipment handover/receipt procedures and checklists. * Issue reports on completed tasks, pending items, or shift contingencies, and update indicators for the daily report. * Comply with all legal and regulatory competencies and training requirements for the position for which the candidate is hired. * Perform all role-related activities in alignment with the RMMS Management System guidelines: Health and Safety, Business, Governance, Environment, and Social Aspects. * When performing job-related activities, act in accordance with occupational health and safety policies, standards, and procedures, considering associated risks and protective measures. **What Requirements Must You Meet?** ---------------------------------- * Completed secondary education or higher studies. * Two years’ experience operating concentrator plants and/or plant support areas. * Experience in Primary Crushing is desirable. * Basic-level Excel proficiency. * Class B driver’s license. * Availability to work rotating 4x4 shifts. **All our job postings comply with Law 21,015, which promotes labor inclusion of persons with disabilities.** We are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplace.
