Lead the development and validation of monthly and quarterly plans. **Job Description** ---------------------- Sierra Gorda SCM is seeking a Mine Planning Manager responsible for: Planning, coordinating, and controlling the development and execution of short-term (weekly and monthly) mining plans, ensuring the implementation of medium-term guidelines and optimization of available resources, thereby contributing to the company's production targets under established safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities: Validate the daily feed plan for operations, ensuring achievement of defined production objectives. Supervise and control execution of the weekly operational plan, verifying its alignment with short-term planning. Lead the development and validation of the monthly and quarterly operational plans, ensuring their feasibility and target compliance. Define and manage required dump zones for operations, ensuring their availability and efficient utilization. Plan and manage infrastructure necessary for mining operations, ensuring timely development. Analyze and report deviations from the mining plan, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions to mitigate operational impacts. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Mining Civil Engineering * Knowledge and experience using mining planning software * Knowledge of Geotechnics * Knowledge of Mineral Processing, short-term planning, and plan development * Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in related positions * Intermediate level of English * Availability to work on a 4x3 shift schedule **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira — a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
