In this senior leadership role, you will define the technical strategy, oversee the full lifecycle of electronic product development, engineering projects, and system design, and ensure all work meets highest quality standards, regulatory compliance, and business objectives. You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of electronic engineers and technical specialists, drive innovation, optimize engineering processes, collaborate with cross\-functional departments, and guide the company’s technological advancement. Required Qualifications * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field; Master’s or Doctorate in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or a specialized technical area is highly preferred. Professional engineering license/registration valid in Chile is mandatory. * **Experience:** Minimum 7–10 years of progressive hands\-on and leadership experience in electronic engineering; proven track record managing engineering teams, leading end\-to\-end electronic design projects, product development, or industrial electronic systems; prior experience in a managerial or senior technical leadership role is essential. * **Core Knowledge:** Deep expertise in electronic circuit design, embedded systems, digital/analog electronics, PCB design, control systems, telecommunications, or power electronics; strong grasp of international technical standards, safety regulations, quality assurance frameworks, and product compliance requirements applicable in Chile and global markets; solid understanding of project management methodologies, technical budgeting, and resource planning. * **Technical Skills:** * Advanced proficiency with industry\-standard engineering tools: circuit simulation software, PCB design platforms, embedded programming environments, testing and diagnostic equipment * Strong ability to review technical designs, validate prototypes, troubleshoot complex engineering challenges, and evaluate technical feasibility and performance * Familiarity with product lifecycle management, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation standards * **Leadership \& Soft Skills:** * Strong leadership and people management skills: ability to inspire, guide, develop, and evaluate engineering teams, foster collaboration, and build a culture of innovation and technical excellence * Strategic thinking and decision\-making: capacity to align technical initiatives with long\-term business goals, prioritize critical projects, and manage technical risks effectively * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish; ability to present technical concepts, project updates, and strategic plans clearly to senior management, stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies; professional proficiency in English is a strong advantage * Strong organizational, budgeting, and project oversight capabilities; ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight timelines * Unwavering professional integrity, commitment to quality, safety, and continuous technological improvement * **Eligibility:** Legally authorized to work in Chile; resident in or willing to relocate to Santiago; availability to represent the company in technical forums, client meetings, or industry partnerships as required. Key Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and lead the long\-term technical strategy and engineering roadmap for the electronic engineering department, aligned with Maksielektronik SpA’s business growth goals * Oversee the full lifecycle of electronic engineering projects: from conceptual design, research and development, schematic and PCB design, prototyping, testing, validation, up to final implementation or manufacturing handover * Lead, organize, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the engineering team; assign technical responsibilities, promote professional development, and foster a collaborative, innovative, and high\-performance work environment * Establish and enforce rigorous engineering standards, quality control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance for all electronic designs, products, and technical activities * Review and approve critical technical designs, project plans, budgets, and resource allocations; monitor project progress, resolve technical bottlenecks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget * Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, adopt emerging electronic technologies, and lead research into new solutions to maintain the company’s competitive edge in the market * Collaborate closely with production, sales, finance, and administrative teams to align technical capabilities with operational needs, client requirements, and financial targets * Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, project records, and quality reports; ensure proper knowledge management and intellectual property protection for developed technologies * Liaise with external partners, suppliers, research institutions, regulatory agencies, and clients to coordinate technical requirements, resolve technical issues, and explore new business opportunities * Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and root\-cause analysis for design failures or performance issues; implement corrective and preventive measures to improve reliability and efficiency * Represent the company in industry events, technical committees, or key business negotiations as delegated by senior management * Perform other strategic leadership and technical oversight duties assigned by company leadership Benefits * Competitive monthly salary: CLP 4,000,000 * Stable full\-time employment contract in full compliance with Chilean labor regulations * Opportunities to lead high\-impact innovation projects and shape the company’s technical future * Professional development support, access to specialized training, industry certifications, and participation in advanced technology forums * Autonomy to lead technical decision\-making and team management * Collaborative, professional work environment that values technical expertise and leadership * Full statutory benefits: social security, health insurance, paid annual leave, legal holidays, and approved leave benefits Sueldo: $4\.000\.000 al mes Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
