Job Summary: We are seeking a Shift Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity at the terminal. The Shift Mechanic 3 is responsible for safely executing corrective and preventive maintenance on TPS equipment and infrastructure to ensure terminal operational continuity. What are the main responsibilities? * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on terminal equipment and infrastructure, ensuring prior planning, coordination, required staffing, favorable environmental conditions, and safety standards—delivered with quality and in the shortest possible time. * Conduct Risk Assessment Tools (ART) during interventions on terminal equipment and infrastructure. * Properly apply de-energization and lockout procedures for terminal equipment and infrastructure. Learn more about us at: www.tps.cl**Desired Profile** ------------------ Education: * Graduate of a Higher Technical Program in Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Automation, or related industrial maintenance disciplines. Knowledge: * Basic technical English for reading blueprints and manuals. * User-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Ability to diagnose and resolve failures, maintain equipment in optimal condition, and follow safety procedures to control risks. * Intermediate knowledge of yard equipment and basic specialization in crane and power generation equipment. Experience: 1 year in industrial maintenance technician roles (preferred). Competencies and Skills: * Risk analysis and evaluation. * Empathy and team orientation. * Analytical ability and goal-oriented mindset. * Self-control and tolerance in the workplace. * Proactivity. * Ability to interpret equipment operation manuals, parts lists, and maintenance instructions. * Ability to interpret structural, electrical, and hydraulic equipment blueprints.
