SECOND-HIGH-VOLTAGE-LINE TECHNICIAN **Offer ID:** 89323 **Job:** Technicians / Other **Contract type:** Temporary **Schedule:** Full\-Time **Country:** Chile **EQUANS Chile (EQCL)** is seeking a **SECOND-HIGH-VOLTAGE-LINE TECHNICIAN**, whose primary responsibility will be to support maintenance and installation activities for electrical transmission lines in an efficient, safe manner, and in full compliance with technical requirements specified by their direct supervisor. **We invite all qualified candidates meeting the following requirements to apply:** **Profession / Education:** **.**\- Vocational technician or equivalent qualification. **Knowledge:** .\- Proficiency in basic tools used in aerial transmission line activities. .\- Desired knowledge of IVP activities, grounding grid measurement, and replacement of high-voltage tower components. .\- Desired familiarity with safety standards and fall-protection equipment, hoists, and come-alongs. .\- Desired knowledge and operation of equipment such as binoculars, etc. **Experience:** .\- Minimum 2 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities on 220 kV and 110 kV high-voltage lines. **Requirements:** 1\.\- Availability to work in the ZC zone and provide occasional support to other zones, as previously requested by the client TRANSELEC. 2\.\- Electrical hazards.
