### **Job Responsibilities**
A prominent company in the aquaculture sector is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a processing plant located in southern Chile, as part of a temporary support position for the peak season.
The purpose of this role is to inspect and monitor critical points within the production process, ensuring compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and current regulatory provisions, thereby guaranteeing product conformity and meeting both customer and organizational requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Inspect critical points of the production process by monitoring quality parameters, recording relevant information, and verifying implementation of corrective actions when deviations are detected.
Verify compliance with technical specifications for each product, ensuring that processes are carried out according to established quality standards.
Monitor hygiene conditions of equipment, surfaces, utensils, and personnel prior to entering production areas, as well as conduct free chlorine tests and other quality program-defined monitoring activities.
Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products, preparing associated records and reports.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance Program, internal procedures, and food industry sanitary regulations.
Promptly report any detected deviations and collaborate in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

### **Job Requirements**
Diploma in Food Technology, Aquaculture, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience performing similar duties, preferably in salmon processing plants. Knowledge of Sanitation Operational Procedures (SOPs). Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Knowledge of chemical handling and pest control. Desirable experience in production process inspection and food safety control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office at user level.
