We encourage you to take the time to explore the opportunity of building a career with Freeport\-McMoRan. **Description** --------------- **Process Operations Technician (Metallurgy Area)** The primary responsibility is to conduct field audits across various operational areas and record the information obtained. Monitor column operations at the pilot plant and oversee operational control for bioaugmentation. All of the above must be carried out efficiently, safely, and with quality focus on safe production, thereby ensuring operational continuity within the area. **Essential Functions** * Measure risk rates, pressures, blockages, valve voltages, and other parameters in Leaching. * Conduct audits of module assembly, pressures, flushing systems, and aeration systems. * Measure voltages, short circuits, anode classification, and other parameters in Electrowinning (EW). * Monitor column operations, column loading, and related activities at the pilot plant or wherever such columns are located. * Support operational control and maintain cleanliness at the bioaugmentation plant. * Assist with sampling solutions from the plant. * Assist with homogenization of drill core samples. * Perform activities that promote and impact safety, environmental stewardship, energy efficiency, gender equality, and operational excellence. * Execute any task assigned within their work area. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Requirements** * Completed secondary education. * At least one year of experience handling metallurgical techniques.
