Focus on operational continuity and plan execution **Confial Consultores**July 24, 2026 ### **Uncategorized** #### **Key Points** Puerto Montt Full\-time To be agreed upon Indefinite Vacancies: 1 #### **Job Offer Details** ### **Job Responsibilities** A major process plant, part of a globally leading company, requires a Plant Maintenance Technician to join its team. **PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN \- Chiloé** **Job Purpose** Inspect the condition of plant equipment and machinery, participate in repairs, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, contributing to operational continuity, fulfillment of the production program, and safe facility operation. **Main Responsibilities** * Inspect equipment and machinery, monitoring parameters and collecting information regarding their operation. * Promptly detect, report, and alert on failures, abnormal conditions, or deviations from established limits. * Execute activities defined in preventive and corrective maintenance programs. * Support industrial equipment repairs and maintenance for production process support. * Monitor machine status, identifying intervention needs, spare parts requirements, or improvements. * Record work orders in the relevant platform, detailing performed activities, time spent, used spare parts, and observations. * Coordinate maintenance tasks to avoid disrupting production planning or quality department activities. * Perform tasks using personal protective equipment and strictly adhering to safety rules and measures. * Propose improvements to equipment, procedures, and maintenance plans. ### **Job Requirements** Requirements: Technical or professional degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related fields. Minimum two years’ experience in industrial equipment or process plant maintenance. Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. Experience in equipment inspection, fault diagnosis, and repairs. Knowledge and experience with Multivac and Baader machines will be highly valued. Knowledge of structural mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. General knowledge of quality, environmental, and safety standards such as ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and occupational health and safety standards. Availability to work rotating shifts.
