General / Specific Requirements Functions: + Provide patient care aligned with their needs. + Conduct specialty medical consultations according to the care model. + Prioritize interconsultations according to protocol and instructions from the Head of Ophthalmology. + Participate in developing and updating the Unit’s clinical protocols and guidelines. + Establish a multidisciplinary care plan based on user needs and the Unit’s protocols. + Actively collaborate in teaching activities for pre- and post-graduate students affiliated with RAD. + Ensure quality, safety, and satisfaction for users and their families. + Ensure proper use of instruments and equipment assigned for procedures and surgeries. + Maintain continuous updating and compliance with specialty-specific programs, in accordance with ministerial regulations. + Promote and implement collaborative strategies with the healthcare network to facilitate user flow across different levels of care. + Participate in all activities contributing to fostering positive relations between staff and the organization, within the framework of respectful treatment policies. + Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, consistent with the role. **Position Profile** Educational Background Medical Doctor degree, registered with the Superintendence of Health (transitional authorizations under Law No. 21.274 will not be considered). This salary includes the following components: **Law 19.664 (22 hours):** + 40% Professional Competency Incentive Allowance for specialists. + 50% Professional Competency Incentive Allowance for specialist substitutes. + 10% Work Conditions and Location Incentive Allowance for specialists working at La Serena Hospital. This salary does not include the following components, which will be calculated separately depending on additional documentation submitted by the applicant: **Law 19.664 (22 hours)** + Triennial increments (Trienios) + Assignment and Training Stage + Retention Allowance **Law 15.076 (28 hours)** + Triennial increments (Trienios) + Article 10 Allowance, Law 20.707 **Contract:** It is hereby established that the selected candidate will begin employment under an initial three-month probationary period, renewable based on the performance evaluation report issued by their immediate supervisor, aligned with the position profile.
