We are looking for a **Mechanic** to join an important heavy machinery rental company serving the mining, construction, and forestry industries, located in **Antofagasta, La Chimba sector**. **Position Objective:** To assemble and disassemble centrifugal pumps (horizontal, vertical, and multistage), with availability for field assistance and performing hydrostatic tests, supporting hydraulic testing. **Responsibilities:** * + Comply and act in accordance with the ITT Code of Ethics, ensuring its dissemination and adherence. + Ensure compliance with all ITT policies, procedures, standards, and principles. + Perform inspections and equipment checks upon receipt. + Complete and maintain checklist records. + Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to company procedures and quality standards. * + Perform hydrostatic and bench testing. + Conduct photographic documentation during disassembly and assembly stages. + Perform metrological control. + Maintain proper records of measurements taken during equipment disassembly and assembly. + Package equipment (pump\-motor alignment, drilling and thread fabrication). + Perform part, component, and pump refurbishments. + Carry out painting and component washing activities. + Operate overhead cranes and forklifts within the facility. + Keep the work area organized and clean. + Provide field support when required. + Protect company infrastructure, machinery, and equipment. **Job Requirements and Qualifications:** * Completed intermediate-level technical degree, preferably in mechanical studies. * Knowledge of centrifugal pumps \- Metrology knowledge \- Experience with laser alignment of motor\-pump systems. * Driver's license: Type D. **Working Conditions:** * Schedule: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 hours. 30-minute lunch break. * Location: Acantitita, La Chimba, Antofagasta. * Net Salary: $850\.000 * Contract Type: Temporary contract for medical leave replacement. * No shuttle bus provided, no meal allowance.
