Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or event orders). Promote the brand’s image both internally and externally. Gather materials and create information packs (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Apply sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining loyalty among existing Marriott customers. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, prospects, third parties) using the software employed during the sales process. Respond to customer inquiries regarding hotel facilities/services (e.g., operating hours, room types and rates, offers, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as a point of contact for customers and communicate with them via telephone and email to address questions and requests. Track and comply with all brand and hotel policies and procedures; ensure wearing a clean, complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times on property; respect confidentiality when disseminating brand- and/or hotel-specific information and protect all company assets. Welcome and receive all guests according to brand standards; anticipate their needs and respond accordingly; thank them warmly. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and proofread written documents accurately and thoroughly; answer the telephone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; unite and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees’ concerns. Comply with quality requirements and standards. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to 4.5 kilograms independently. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent secondary-level qualification. Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory experience: None.
