The main purposes of the Production Operator will be defined by their supervisor or direct management and may include any of the following responsibilities: * Draw wires on wire drawing machines according to technical instructions, delivering them as in-process or finished products. * Cable wires or phases according to technical specifications, delivering them as in-process or finished products. * Manufacture electrical conductor coils on coil cutting machines according to given technical instructions, delivering them as in-process or finished products. * Extrude electrical conductors on extrusion machines according to given technical instructions, delivering them as in-process or finished products. * And/or other relevant supporting activities to maintain production flow. **Areas of Responsibility**: Use active verbs to define areas of responsibility and especially the importance of each responsibility: “Manage”, “Support”, “Participate”, “Is responsible for…”, “Is in charge of…”, “Promotes”, “Contributes”, etc. * Perform support tasks in operating forklift trucks and/or electric pallet jacks to meet specific and temporary production process needs. **Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:** * Observe occupational health and safety rules, regulations, and procedures. * Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain it according to instructions provided upon receipt. * Ensure that team members identify work-related hazards and apply safe working conditions. * Report any risk situations or impacts arising in any process and provide suggestions for improving occupational health and safety conditions. * Raise awareness and develop understanding of all risks associated with performed activities for their minimization and prevention. * Promptly report any workplace accidents or incidents that occur**.** **Environmental Management System Responsibilities:** * Observe environmental rules, regulations, and procedures. * Actively participate in all training sessions related to this area. * Report any risk situations or impacts arising in any process and provide suggestions for improving the company’s environmental impact conditions. * Raise awareness and develop understanding of all risks associated with performed activities for their minimization and prevention. * Promptly report any workplace accidents or incidents that occur. **Integrated Management System Responsibilities:** * Apply procedures and records described in their process. * Actively participate in all Integrated Management System (IMS)-oriented training sessions. * Ensure that team members identify work- or function-related risks affecting the IMS. * Report any risk situations or impacts arising in any process and provide suggestions for improving conditions. * Ensure compliance with IMS policy. * Ensure achievement of Integrated Management System objectives. * Ensure implementation of all IMS programs. **Authority Over:** No personnel under supervision **Workplace Hazards:** Biological Biomechanical Electrical Physical Physicochemical Locational Mechanical Chemical Psychosocial Public Traffic **Expected Results:** What contribution is expected from this position?
