Report on the management of completed work * Full-time position * Operator * Valparaíso Region * Valparaíso Sitrans, a leading national logistics company, is seeking a Container Crane Mechanic for its Curauma Agency in Valparaíso. **Job Objectives:** Carry out maintenance and repair tasks for equipment and machinery used in the company’s internal service operations, thereby contributing to maintaining physical and operational availability and enabling continuous operation of related processes. **Main Responsibilities:** * Execute the maintenance and repair program for equipment and machinery. * Inspect and repair daily the equipment assigned by the Workshop Supervisor, Foreman, or Supervisor. * Report on the management of work performed on equipment. * Comply with company-established standards regarding Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality. * Operate and maneuver forklift cranes, either for warehouse operations or maintenance activities. **Desired Profile** ------------------ **Required Knowledge:** * Specialist in mechanical equipment and Sitrans equipment (Hydraulic Systems Maintenance, Mechanized Systems Maintenance, Electrical Schematic Interpretation, Electrical System Fault Detection, Combustion Engine Maintenance and Tuning) * Class B\-D driver’s license (desirable) * Container crane operation (desirable) * Forklift crane operation (desirable) * Maintenance software (desirable) **Experience:** * 2 years of experience in hydraulic equipment maintenance for off-road cranes OR 2 years of experience in mechanized equipment maintenance. **Education:** * Higher-level Mechanical Technician qualification or related field, preferably with applicable knowledge of heavy machinery—especially container handling equipment—and electrical knowledge for heavy machinery (desirable) * Minimum 2 years of experience * Minimum education level: Higher-level professional technician * Graduate
