**ARAUCO** is seeking its next **Reliability Engineer** to work at the Nueva Aldea Pulp Plant.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Define and maintain up-to-date asset maintenance strategies using criticality analysis, RCM, FMECA, and RBI.
* Analyze asset performance through reliability indicators (MTBF, MTTR, availability) and the history of notifications and work orders in SAP PM.
* Identify underperforming equipment and repetitive failures, leading root cause analysis and ensuring effective implementation and closure of corrective actions.
* Optimize preventive and predictive plans by adjusting scopes and frequencies based on technical and risk assessments.
* Contribute to the development of condition monitoring and lubrication programs, evaluating results and issuing intervention recommendations.
* Manage spare parts criticality and asset obsolescence.
* Define technical scopes for major maintenance and provide reliability and maintainability input for engineering projects and modifications.
* Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Planning, Engineering, and Safety departments to ensure operational continuity.
* Prepare technical reports and analyses to support decision-making by the Superintendency.
**Requirements to Apply:**
* Professional degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or maintenance engineering within continuous process industries.
* Experience in pulp plants is desirable.
* Knowledge of reliability methodologies: criticality analysis, RCM, FMECA, and root cause analysis.
* Proficiency in SAP PM (notifications, work orders, plans, and route sheets) and maintenance indicators.
* Knowledge of ISO 55001, condition monitoring techniques, data analysis tools, and Artificial Intelligence is desirable.
* Intermediate English proficiency.
