**Position Description**
At ACCIONA Energía, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Business Development area at our Central Office located in Las Condes Commune, Región Metropolitana, Chile.
**Mission:**
Lead project development in alignment with established planning and budgetary targets.
**Functions and Responsibilities:**
1\. Lead, integrate, and coordinate all teams involved in project development to ensure adherence to timelines and associated costs.
2\. Manage risks and make timely decisions to minimize project impact, while ensuring implementation of corrective actions for issues affecting project development.
3\. Analyze and evaluate projects technically, legally, socio-environmentally, and economically to decide on and manage their progression through each project development stage.
4\. Manage and carry out area-specific activities related to land acquisition, contract administration, and owner relations.
5\. Manage the preparation of documentation required for obtaining necessary project permits.
6\. Identify project stakeholders and maintain relationships with them.
7\. Plan, monitor, and optimize project costs and timelines based on established budgets and schedules.
8\. Develop identified opportunities to potentially incorporate new Greenfield projects into the project portfolio.
9\. Lead and coordinate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes related to portfolio development and growth, including opportunity identification, asset evaluation, due diligence coordination, transaction structuring, and support in negotiations with potential partners or sellers.
**Candidate Requirements**
EDUCATION
* Degree in Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Law
EXPERIENCE
* Experience in permitting renewable energy projects
* Experience managing relationships with authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders
* Minimum 5 years of experience
