We are currently seeking a **Construction Supervisor** to join our Integrated MEL contract at Puerto Coloso.
**Terms:**
* Shift: 7x7
* Location: Puerto Coloso
* Contract Type: Fixed-term contract.
**Objective:**
To plan, coordinate, and supervise end-to-end the proper execution of daily fieldwork, controlling personnel, materials, equipment, and tools; ensuring safe working conditions, compliance with operational procedures; timely reporting to management on progress, status, and completion of work; and identifying risks and proposing corrective actions.
**Responsibilities:**
* Thoroughly understand the client’s fluid transport system facilities, structures, areas, and equipment to ensure proper execution of maintenance and scheduled work.
* Understand the maintenance strategy to plan and coordinate daily activities, verifying adherence to deadlines and targets.
* Supervise and monitor work execution in accordance with procedures, safety regulations, risk prevention standards, and established benchmarks.
* Generate work notifications and work orders based on operational requirements.
* Prepare and deliver reports, technical documents, and presentations requested by the client regarding progress and results.
* Execute and track assigned work orders from management.
* Manage the request, receipt, and distribution of materials and tools required for operations.
* Supervise assigned personnel, coordinating tasks and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
* Ensure awareness of and compliance with documentation and requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Participate in planning and progress review meetings.
* Monitor services and resources required to carry out planned work.
* Propose process and task improvements to foster continuous improvement within the area.
* Support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the IMS.
* Maintain up-to-date records of personnel documentation (training courses, examinations, certifications, and assignments).
* Apply preventive safety tools and controls across all activities.
* Report and correct deviations related to safety, health, quality, and environmental matters.
**Requirements:**
* Mechanical Technician or related degree.
* 3 years of experience in Mining Projects or Engineering Construction. (Prior experience with BHP is desirable.)
* Knowledge of Quality Management, Occupational Safety and Health, and Environmental Management.
* Familiarity with Work Management and SAP.
