Diego Portales University invites applications for the position of Study Secretary in the Pedagogy in Basic Education program, in accordance with the regulations of the Faculty of Education and current institutional policies. Maintain updated records of academic information, attendance, evaluations, medical certificates, resolutions, etc. Prepare and sign resolutions regarding course cancellations, suspensions, withdrawals, special admissions, registration modifications, among others. **Curriculum and Regulatory Administration:** Manage and validate processes such as course equivalency, recognition, re-enrollment, and curricular changes. Guide students on the proper application of current regulations (Undergraduate, Faculty, UDP). Supervise the updating and consistency of the study plan with academic records. **Participation in Academic Governance:** Participate in the Program Committee and Curriculum Committee. Support the Program Director in academic planning, strategic initiatives, and quality assurance activities. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure the proper implementation of current and approved study plans and programs by the Faculty Council. * Review and oversee grade records, reporting student grades to the Schools Directorate and relevant administrative units of the University within established deadlines. * Regularly inform the School Director about the academic and administrative progress of the unit. * Monitor received requests and coordinate subject validation processes or specific student requirements. * Ensure the handling and resolution of student requests, complaints, and suggestions according to procedures established by the Faculty and University. * Propose and integrate committees established in both the undergraduate student regulations and the Faculty regulations. * Lead the graduation and degree conferral process for students, including all related activities. * Oversee and manage student exchange programs, informing relevant departments of academic results from foreign students and receiving academic outcomes from School students who completed courses at foreign universities, integrating these into academic records. * Issue mass communications to students containing highly important institutional information. * Ensure student support, guidance, and referral to various university service and benefit units. * Perform other related duties assigned by the School Director or Dean's Office. **Working Conditions:** The position requires on-site work at an office located in Santiago Centro. **Start Date:** March 1, 2026.
