Job Summary
**WASO Credit \& Business Services Chile SpA** is seeking a ***Credit Analysis Assistant*** with analytical capability, organizational skills, and attention to detail to join our team in Viña del Mar. As a Credit Analysis Assistant, you will provide administrative and analytical support for credit review processes and financial services. You will collaborate on collecting and validating customer documentation, maintaining credit files, verifying financial and commercial information, preparing basic spreadsheets for credit analysis, tracking pending applications, and supporting authorized Credit Analysts and commercial teams. You will work closely with credit, finance, risk, customer service, collections, administration, and commercial operations staff to ensure credit information is complete, accurately recorded, properly reviewed, and managed in accordance with established procedures. This position is ideal for recent graduates and professionals with limited work experience who are interested in credit, banking, financial services, risk analysis, accounting, finance, business administration, or financial operations.
Responsibilities: Support daily credit analysis activities. Receive and organize credit application documentation. Review applications to verify completeness. Confirm submission of required supporting documents. Maintain organized digital credit files. Enter and update applicant information in authorized systems. Assist in verifying customer and company information. Verify basic identification and financial information per established procedures. Assist in reviewing income and employment documentation. Support review of financial and commercial documentation. Assist in basic income and financial indicator calculations. Prepare spreadsheets and credit analysis summaries. Maintain credit records in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Assist in reviewing debt and payment information using authorized sources. Support basic debt-service capacity calculations. Assist in categorizing customer risk per established criteria. Identify missing, inconsistent, or unusual information. Flag applications requiring additional documentation. Monitor pending credit applications. Follow up on outstanding documentation. Keep application status information updated. Coordinate routine requests with customers and internal teams. Assist Credit Analysts in case preparation. Support preparation of routine credit reports. Maintain accurate records of application activity. Assist in verifying approved credit policy compliance. Support file and customer portfolio reviews. Assist in preparing basic credit and collections reports. Monitor routine deadlines and pending cases. Support reconciliation of portfolio and account information. Support documentation required for audit and compliance activities. Maintain confidentiality of financial and personal information. Follow privacy procedures, information security policies, credit policies, and internal controls. Escalate suspicious, inconsistent, or potentially fraudulent information. Support continuous improvement of credit analysis processes.
Requirements: Completed secondary education or equivalent qualification. Technical or university studies in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Commercial Engineering, Financial Administration, Risk Management, or related fields are valued. Approximately 0\-1 year of relevant experience. Prior credit analysis experience is not mandatory. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Internships, academic projects, banking internships, accounting experience, or financial services training will be considered. Strong numerical and analytical skills. High attention to detail. Good organizational skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Comfort working with financial and customer information. Ability to perform basic calculations accurately. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to follow credit policies and documented procedures. Ability to identify missing or inconsistent information.
