Job Description **Job Description** **Location:** Metropolitan Region. **PURPOSE** Lead the national strategy and execution of sourcing and contract management, ensuring operational continuity, value optimization, and supplier performance, aligned with the company’s safety, sustainability, and operational excellence standards. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Define and implement the sourcing and procurement strategy for the assigned contract portfolio, aligned with business priorities, ensuring operational continuity and value generation. * Lead end\-to\-end sourcing, negotiation, and contract management processes, ensuring competitive, efficient commercial agreements compliant with internal standards. * Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and cost optimization across the contractual lifecycle. * Ensure portfolio contract performance by monitoring KPIs, SLA compliance, risks, and sustainable value creation. * Integrate safety, health, sustainability, and compliance standards across all stages of the contracting process, promoting responsible practices throughout the supply chain. * Lead the planning and execution of the contract pipeline, ensuring visibility, resource control, deadline adherence, and budget management. * Drive inclusive procurement initiatives and local supplier development, contributing to positive social impact and community strengthening. * Develop and lead high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented culture, ensuring achievement of departmental objectives. Requirements * Professional degree (Commercial, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or related field). * Postgraduate qualification preferred (e.g., MBA, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields). **Professional Experience:** * Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in supply chain, sourcing, and/or contract management within mining or industrial companies. * Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams. * **Experience negotiating strategic contracts for mining equipment, explosives, maintenance, fuels, and lubricants, among others.** **Specific Knowledge:** * Advanced sourcing and contract management. * Supplier relationship management (SRM). * Commercial negotiation. * Risk and contract management. * Comprehensive understanding of the supply chain. * SAP and Ariba knowledge (preferred) **Other Requirements:** * Advanced English proficiency, both oral and written (mandatory). * Ability to plan and execute effectively in dynamic and complex environments. **Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:** **Team Processes:** * Ability to be an effective team member—listening, clarifying tasks, receiving and providing feedback. **Collaboration:** * Builds positive working relationships with a diverse range of people across disciplines. * Strong communication skills, ability to articulate and constructively debate ideas.
