Through our 400 brands reaching 2\.5 billion people every day, our goal is to generate positive social impact globally and locally. **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION** Execute and ensure proper implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plant electrical and instrumentation systems, guaranteeing operational continuity and reliability. Additionally, propose and implement improvements in production lines contributing to process efficiency, safety, and optimization. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * + Inspect and analyze equipment and spare parts. + Interpret complex technical drawings and catalogs. + Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on complex equipment and installations according to the maintenance schedule. + Identify, analyze, report, and/or correct failures, conducting root cause analysis. + Operate equipment under your responsibility and know the manufacturer’s technical specifications. + Deliver specialized training to instrumentation technicians and operators. + Plan and manage spare parts replenishment. + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and installations. + Operate and maintain transformers and switchboards in the electrical substation. + Operate medium- and low-voltage equipment. + Maintain electrical control circuits and UPS systems. + Inspect, maintain, and operate electric generators. + Repair and maintain lighting systems. + Maintain and repair manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging machines, as well as manual, semi-automatic, and automatic valves. + Calibrate and monitor weight, level, temperature, and pressure transmitters, as well as load cells, field sensors, and final control elements. + Maintain power and control panels. + Resolve issues related to instrumentation and electrical systems in the plant and offices. + Propose and implement continuous improvements in instrumentation systems (valves, temperature controllers, PLCs, etc.). + Participate in evaluating and requesting budgets for improvements to electrical and instrumentation installations. + Timely request critical spare parts for the instrumentation area. + Inspect the condition and hygiene of equipment and machinery before use, reporting any anomalies to your direct supervisor. **WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS VACANCY?** **Experience** * Extensive and in-depth expertise in Rockwell Automation: PLCs, VFDs * Experience: 4 years in industry * Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office user level * Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming, frequency drive configuration, SIC 21, field sensors, and final control elements. **Skills** * Initiative * Analytical and problem-solving ability * Teamwork * Responsibility Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
