In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving SSC's ground station infrastructure, supporting customer\-hosted systems, and ensuring reliable satellite operations for customers around the globe. We encourage interested candidates to apply as early as possible.*** **Requirements** ---------------- Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. * Experience with RF systems and satellite ground station infrastructure (S, X, Ka, VHF, UHF). * Experience working with antenna systems, RF equipment, fiber optics, and infrastructure maintenance. * Experience troubleshooting complex technical systems in operational environments. * Basic networking and IT knowledge, including IP configuration, Ethernet infrastructure, and software upgrades. * Experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and related instrumentation. * Ability to read, understand, and maintain technical documentation. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance/documentation systems. Desired Skills and Background* Experience supporting hosted customer infrastructure. * Knowledge of satellite communications architectures and protocols. * Experience with systems integration, testing, and commissioning. * Experience with automation or operational process improvements. * Knowledge of control systems, mechanics, and infrastructure systems. Location This is a full\-time position based in Santiago, Chile. The role includes office and field work and requires occasional travel to SSC ground stations and customer sites.
