This includes coordinating outsourced security guard services (and their labor regulations), complemented by physical and technological security improvement projects. Additionally, the role requires ongoing coordination with state actors in these matters—including municipal authorities, Carabineros, PDI, fire departments, and SENAPRED. Internally, the role entails promoting self-care and prevention initiatives related to security, developing protocols and operational procedures, and acting with high empathy toward diverse situations affecting members of the university community. **Main Responsibilities:** * Identify and analyze risk situations, planning appropriate preventive actions. * Oversee the implementation of security projects (e.g., closed-circuit television (CCTV), intrusion alarms, turnstiles, vehicle access systems, among others). * Supervise outsourced security services. * Manage various contracts related to the security area. * Administer CCTV systems locally and coordinate external CCTV monitoring at the Metropolitan Region (RM) level. * Manage parking facilities. * Draft, implement, and update security protocols and operational function manuals. * Advise the institution on security-related matters. * *At UNAB, pluralism is a defining feature of our educational process, calling us to foster spaces that promote recognition of diversity, respect, and tolerance toward others.
