Position Summary:
We are seeking a Perishable Supply Planner to plan the supply of perishable categories, ensuring product availability and efficient inventory management.
Key Highlights:
1. Optimization of demand forecast models and inventory management.
2. Monitoring of key performance indicators and development of Power BI dashboards.
3. Identification and implementation of improvements using analytical tools.
At ISBEJ Consultores, we are currently recruiting a Perishable Supply Planner for a major supermarket chain.
The candidate will be responsible for planning the supply of perishable categories, ensuring product availability in stores and efficient inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and optimize SKU-store-level demand forecast models.
* Manage automatic replenishment parameters, considering demand, turnover, replenishment frequency, and product shelf life.
* Monitor KPIs such as service level, fill rate, availability, forecast accuracy, days of inventory, stockouts, overstock, and shrinkage.
* Develop management dashboards and KPIs in Power BI.
* Analyze inventory health, age, coverage, and turnover.
* Participate in S&OP processes, coordinating with production, logistics, commercial, and operations teams.
* Track campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.
* Identify and implement improvement opportunities using analytical tools, automation, and predictive models.
What We Are Looking For:
* Degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, or related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, procurement, supply chain, or data science.
* Experience working with retailers, preferably in food, perishable categories, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
* Proficiency in Python and/or R, SQL, and Power Query.
* Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
* Knowledge of S&OP/S&OE processes.
* Experience with supply and automatic replenishment planning tools such as RELEX, Blue Yonder, or similar.
* Familiarity with statistical or machine learning models applied to time series.
* Data Science or related specialization is desirable.
* Advanced Excel (MANDATORY)
