




**Material Planner** ------------------------------ **Scope: Local** ---------------- **Location: Santiago, Chile** ------------------------------ **Job Purpose:** Ensure the timely availability of spare parts, supplies and services required for operations, optimizing costs and guaranteeing compliance with internal procurement, receiving, inventory control and import processes. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * **Procurement and Quotation Management:** + Request quotations for spare parts and supplies from suppliers. + Conduct price comparisons and explore alternative options. + Submit requests and review approval workflows in internal systems. + Issue purchase orders to suppliers as appropriate. * **Receiving and Warehousing:** + Review purchase orders and invoices in systems (COUPA). + Label and store spare parts in their designated locations. * **Imports:** + Request quotations and proforma invoices. + Manage advance payments and supporting documentation. + Coordinate shipments with COMEX (sea/air) and update related files. * **Inventory Control and Management:** + Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels based on historical consumption. + Identify stockouts and overstock situations; generate KPIs in Power BI. + Consolidate duplicate codes, create new codes in SAP and maintain updated records. * **Supply and Issuance Management:** + Request quotations for supplies (soaps, gloves, safety items, etc.). + Maintain stock levels and record issuances in SAP. * **Onboarding of Companies and Suppliers:** + Request data, submit applications and respond to questionnaires. + Provide support for unlocking or updating supplier data. + Coordinate meetings with suppliers. * **Inventory and Reporting:** + Prepare annual inventory and monthly meetings (Commant). + Generate reports and analyses to support decision-making. * **Innovation:** + Identify opportunities for process improvement and material management optimization. ### **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical or university degree in Logistics, Administration or Engineering. * **Experience:** + Experience in material management, procurement and inventory control. * **Specific Knowledge:** + SAP and procurement platforms (COUPA). + Import processes and local regulations. + Data analysis (Power BI). * **Skills:** + Organization and planning. + Attention to detail. + Negotiation and supplier relationship management. + Results orientation and continuous improvement.
