We are looking for a Battery Installation Technician to join the team of one of our key clients in the hardware sales and distribution industry in the city of Puerto Montt. Your main objective will be to ensure the correct installation, maintenance, and repair of battery systems across various types of equipment, guaranteeing proper installation, operation, and maintenance of batteries, thereby contributing to the efficiency and safety of the systems in which they are installed. Some of the job responsibilities include: * Properly install batteries in vehicles, machinery, or power systems, ensuring safe and efficient assembly. * Verify correct battery operation after installation, ensuring proper charging and absence of failures. * Perform preventive and corrective battery maintenance, including terminal cleaning, charge testing, and replacement of defective components. * Diagnose and resolve battery-related and electrical system faults, providing effective and prompt solutions. * Advise customers on proper battery usage, estimate battery lifespan, and provide recommendations regarding optimal replacement or system upgrade options. Application Requirements: * Hold a technical degree in electromechanics, mechanics, electronics, or related field. * Have 2 years of experience in related positions. * Class B driver’s license (mandatory) Employment Conditions: On-site work schedule from Monday to Saturday Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00–18:15 hrs. Saturday 10:00–15:45 hrs.
