Collaborative work with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams **Description** We are currently seeking **Special Education Teachers for Senior School**, covering grades 7th through 4th year of secondary school. The Special Education Teacher’s purpose is to promote inclusive and high-quality education by supporting and strengthening teaching practices through the design and implementation of differentiated pedagogical strategies that respond to students’ special educational needs. This role is critical in identifying, assessing, supporting, and monitoring students, working collaboratively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster each student’s holistic development, autonomy, and active participation within the school community—aligned with the institution’s educational project and principles of care, respect, and safeguarding. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and evaluate the Special Education Program, aligned with the Institutional Educational Project (PEI) and the school’s needs. * Identify and assess special educational needs through systematic observation in classroom and broader school contexts. * Conduct ongoing student follow-up, ensuring effective coverage and documentation of interventions and progress. * Design and apply pedagogical strategies and curricular adaptations to support learning and inclusion. * Support and advise teachers on implementing inclusive practices in the classroom. * Coordinate collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and internal and external support networks. * Guide families and legal guardians regarding support strategies and student progress. * Monitor the impact of interventions and propose continuous improvements to the program and institutional practices. **Competencies:** * Flexibility and adaptability to change. * Pedagogical leadership * Teamwork * Affinity with technology * Conflict resolution * Planning and organization * Orientation toward the care and well-being of children and adolescents, among others. **Requirements:** * On-site work mode: working hours are 42 hours per week, Monday through Friday. * Degree: Professional Degree in Special Education (mandatory). * Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles. * Knowledge: Proficiency with technological tools such as Office and Google applications.
