**Job Purpose:**
Carry out underground mining production tasks by operating and controlling extraction, caving, crushing, and material handling equipment and systems—both on-site and from the Integrated Operations Center (IOC)—contributing to the safe and efficient fulfillment of production programs. Additionally, coordinate with internal personnel, maintenance staff, and collaborating companies to maximize asset availability and lifespan, ensuring compliance with—and enforcement of—Division- and Corporation-established policies, standards, and procedures related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Ensure operational continuity and safety in assigned areas by verifying working conditions, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to maintain safe and uninterrupted operations.
* Operate, control, and monitor production equipment and systems both on-site and from the Integrated Operations Center (IOC), verifying operational conditions and critical process variables.
* Carry out mining production activities, including caving, extraction, secondary reduction, explosive loading, and delivery of ore to the production process.
* Perform operational support and associated service activities, such as equipment relocation, unblocking, material handling, rise management, and other tasks necessary to ensure operational continuity.
* Participate in mining maintenance and repair activities, managing or supporting mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation interventions on equipment and facilities.
* Record, control, and communicate operational information, keeping production process data, equipment updates, operational conditions, and identified risks up to date, ensuring proper shift handover and coordination with other areas.
* Coordinate and supervise activities within the assigned zone or area, interacting with internal personnel and collaborating companies, monitoring asset status, and managing first response to operational contingencies.
* Comply with and promote quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and operational sustainability.
* Contribute to achieving production plans and operational excellence by optimizing processes, participating in change projects and initiatives, promoting technological innovation, and ensuring efficient use of assets.
* Work collaboratively and support organizational development by fostering teamwork, people development, respect for corporate values, operation of support vehicles when required, and performing other related duties as assigned by supervision.

**Application Requirements:**
* Completed Secondary Education (Scientific-Humanistic or Technical-Industrial track) or equivalent qualification aligned with this position.
* Minimum 1 year of work experience in mining.
* Valid Class B driver’s license.
* Health condition compatible with the position.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
* Minimum 1 year of experience operating or maintaining mining equipment.
* Valid Class D driver’s license.
**Offered Conditions:**
* Contract Type: Temporary.
* Contractual Position: AB Mine Operator.
* Work Location: Chuquicamata Division (No camp).
* Shift Schedule: 7x7 Continuous Shift.
* Number of Vacancies: 08\.
