Responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing human, financial, technical, and infrastructure resources at the station, guaranteeing proper execution of production programs, crop development, regulatory compliance, and implementation of corporate policies. Job description **Production Management:** Plan, direct, and comprehensively supervise the station’s production operations—both in protected cultivation and open-field settings—ensuring achievement of production targets, quality standards, cost control, timelines, and agronomic outcomes. Responsible for managing crops throughout their entire production cycle, coordinating soil preparation, establishment, agronomic management, harvesting, and seed conditioning—ensuring adherence to technical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Also participate in implementing new technologies, continuous improvement projects, and research initiatives related to seed production. **People Management:** Lead and develop the station’s workforce, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement. Plan staffing according to operational needs; coordinate recruitment, training, evaluation, and development processes—ensuring appropriate role distribution and strengthening of technical and leadership competencies. **Financial Management:** Manage the station’s operating budget and resources, controlling costs, optimizing use of financial, material, and infrastructure resources, and overseeing procurement and utilization of inputs, equipment, and services required for operational continuity. **Infrastructure and Asset Management:** Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and improvement of infrastructure, irrigation systems, machinery, and other assets—leading preventive and corrective maintenance programs, as well as expansion or renewal projects where applicable. **Safety, Health, Environment, and Compliance:** Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, corporate policies, and standards related to safety, occupational health, environment, and quality—promoting risk prevention, responsible management of resources and inputs, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Maintain required documentation and records, and represent the station before authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders. **Information Management and Reporting:** Monitor, analyze, and report on production, financial, operational, and safety indicators—ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Maintain effective communication with relevant departments, reporting risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities to support decision-making and achievement of organizational objectives. What we expect of you Agronomy/seed production expertise is required. Experience supervising and leading work teams. Experience in planning and managing agricultural operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
