This role’s mission is to deliver specialized technical assistance to customers in the Feed \& Biofuel division by performing inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, commissioning, and optimization of industrial equipment—ensuring operational continuity, reliability, and performance of our customers’ production processes, thereby contributing to their satisfaction and loyalty. Key Responsibilities * Perform on-site technical services for Feed \& Biofuel division equipment and systems, such as mills, pelletizers, conditioners, conveyors, grinding systems, and associated equipment. * Conduct mechanical and operational inspections to identify improvement opportunities, operational risks, and potential equipment failures. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to ANDRITZ-defined technical procedures. * Supervise and participate in equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and acceptance testing at customer sites. * Provide technical support to customers regarding operation, maintenance, spare parts, upgrades, and best practices for equipment utilization. * Collect on-site technical data and prepare detailed service reports documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. * Perform measurements, functional tests, and equipment performance analysis to verify operational parameters and ensure proper functionality. * Support identification of commercial opportunities related to spare parts, services, modernizations, and process improvements. * Efficiently coordinate required resources, tools, and documentation to ensure correct execution of assigned services. * Prepare and manage all administrative documentation associated with the service before, during, and after work execution. * Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, ensuring high service standards and satisfaction. * Participate in all company-mandated safety activities—including safety talks, inductions, trainings, and campaigns—and strictly comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and procedures. * Perform all other ancillary or related duties. Requirements * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, on-site technical service, commissioning, or technical assistance for industrial equipment. * Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Chile. * Valid Class B driver’s license. Technical Competencies * Knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance. * Ability to interpret and read mechanical and electrical drawings. * Understanding of industrial processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Intermediate English. * Experience in balanced feed plants, pet food, aquaculture, biomass, or biofuels is desirable. * Experience with grinding, pelleting, material handling equipment, and industrial processing systems is desirable.
